Grey Matter Consulting (Pty) Ltd · Reg No. 2020/255888/07 · Effective 12 August 2026
Presies converts bank statement PDFs into verified, Sage-ready CSV files for accounting practices. Every statement must pass verification - the running balance re-computed on every row, plus the statement's own totals where the bank publishes them - before a file is produced. If a statement cannot be verified, Presies refuses and says why, rather than guessing.
A subscription covers one accounting practice. Your administrator invites team members up to the number of seats on your plan. Each person must use their own login - accounts may not be shared between people or between firms, and access may not be resold. We may suspend a workspace that abuses the service, after contacting you.
Presies is a monthly subscription, billed in advance through Paystack or invoiced directly by agreement. Converting statements requires an active subscription. If a renewal payment fails, converting pauses until payment is settled; your history and account remain accessible.
Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance (5,000 credits unless agreed otherwise). A bank statement costs 3 credits per page, whether it is a PDF or a scan. The allowance resets on the 1st of each calendar month. Credits do not roll over, have no cash value, and converting pauses when the allowance is used up. We can raise your allowance by agreement.
You can cancel at any time, from the Billing page or by emailing us. You keep full use of Presies until the end of the period you have paid for; after that, converting stops and no further charges are made. You can still sign in to see your conversion history. See the Refunds & cancellation policy for detail.
Uploaded statements are processed in memory and are not stored - see the Privacy Policy. Presies flags anything it is uncertain about (for example description wording read by OCR from image-rendered statement cells) so your team can review it. Responsibility for your clients' books, including reviewing flagged items and what is imported into your accounting software, stays with your practice.
We provide Presies with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms and will give you notice by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
These terms are governed by South African law. Questions and notices: hello@greymc.co.za.
